Early Paper Money of America / Georgia / 1776 Maroon Seal
Indented certificates printed in red and black on a sheet containing four subjects. The $10 and $20 have no other border than an engraved scrip GEORGIA on each side which cut was reused on the $40 of the 1778 certificates. The $2 and $4 are from the same printing form used for the 1776 light blue seal issue. Same signers as the 1776 light blue seal issue. There were five signers on each certificate.

$10 Millstone on palm tree. OPPRESSA SURGIT.
