Gerald Eugene Johnson
Biography
Born in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin. Married Irene Bautz on July 28, 1951. They had a son and daughter. He served with the Army during the Korean War. Employed in quality control for Consilidated Papers until retirement in 1990.
Founding member of Numismatist of Wisconsin in 1960 and editor of their news magazine. Named a Numismatic News Numismatic Ambassador in 1980. Author of Trade Tokens of Wisconsin in 1967.
He died in Odyssey Hospice House at Palms Springs, California.
