Kenneth W. Lee
Biography
Born in Glendale, California, son of Ed Lee. Graduate of the University of Southern California. Married to Ruby with two sons and a daughter. He was employed in advertising prior to the crash of 1929.
In 1930 he joined his father in the coin business. He was a charter member of the Los Angeles Coin Club and an organizer of the California State Numismatic Association.
Author of California Gold Dollars, Half Dollars, Quarter Dollars in 1970.
He died in Hong Kong. His library was sold at auction by George Kolbe in 1981. The Lee collection was acquired by Pacific Coast Auction Gallery and sold intact by private treaty.
