Lewis Martin Reagan
Biography
Born in Indianapolis, Indiana. Graduated from Missouri Valley College in 1924 with masters from Kansas University. Married Gabrielle Perrault in 1931. They had four daughters and a son.
He was a mathematics teacher, wrote textbooks, and served as president of the Kansas Mathematics Association. First president of the Wichita Coin Club.
He served as Director of Advertising and Publicity from 1935 to 1944. General Secretary of the ANA 1944 to 1961. Received ANA Medal of Merit in 1948 and Farran Zerbe Memorial Award in 1954. In 1970 he was inducted into the ANA Numismatic Hall of Fame.
He died in a hospital at Wichita, Kansas.
