Anderson W. Redding
Biography
Born in Washington County, Georgia. Married to Susan Randall Jackson on March 30, 1826. She died in 1850. Married Elizabeth Smith on October 31, 1854. She died in 1863. Married Jane Rutledge January 6, 1864.
Keeper of the state penitentiary. Superintendent of Dahlonega Mint September 1849 to June 1853 during the administration of Zachary Taylor.
He died in Harris County, Georgia.
