He has two children. Received BA from Montclair University (1978), MA in English language and literature from New York University (1980) and JD from Seton Hall University (1983). Admitted to practice law in NY, NJ, PA & DC. Founding partner of Scarinci & Hollenbeck, LLC law firm. Trustee of the New Jersey institute of Local Government Attorneys.
Founding officer for Colonial Coin Collecting Club (C4). Reported to have assembled the largest privately held collection of art medals in the United States.
Served on Saltus Award Committee for the ANS after 2004, Served on Citizen’s Coinage Advisory Committee after 2005. On the board of Medal Collectors of America after 2005. He is a life member of the ANA and serves on its Medallic Art award committee.
