Stephen L. Tanenbaum

Biography

Born in Brooklyn, New York. Received B.S. and M.S. from Cornell University. Received masters degree in business administration from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Employed as financial analyst with Xerox Corporation in Rochester, New York.

Employed as a dealer in tokens and medals. Full-time dealer after 1981. Partner with Richard Rossa in 1978. Occasionally affiliated with Ernie Latter and Steve Hayden. In 2004 he was inducted into the CWTS Hall of Fame.

He was struck by a car while crossing the street near his home. The stolen car was driven by spree killer Maksim Geiman.
