Agnes Baldwin Brett


Born in Newark, New Jersey. B.A. from Barnard College in 1897 and Masters in 1900. Married to George Monroe Brett in 1914.

Author of works on ancient coinage. Curator at the ANS from 1910 to 1912. She was Associate Curator 1936 to 1956.

She received the ANS Archer M. Huntington Medal in 1919. In 1973 she was inducted into the ANA Numismatic Hall of Fame.

She died in Marblehead, Massachusetts.
