Ralph Rawdon

Biography

Born in Connecticut. Operated in Albany, New York in 1816. Partner with Asahel Clark in Rawdon, Clark & Co. Later with Tracy Edson as Rawdon, Wright, Hatch & Edson. Bank Note Engravers (later American Bank Note Company).

Co-author of New Security for Protecting Bank Notes from Alterations & Photographic Counterfeits (1858).
