Biography
Born in Michigan.
Served with the U.S. Marine Corps.
Served on the U. S. Assay Commission in 1974. He received the Numismatic News Numismatic Ambassador award in 1980. Received an ANA President’s Award. He received the ANA Glenn Smedley Memorial Award in 2003 and the Medal of Merit in 2005.
Specialist in the coinage of Mexico. Editor of the Journal of Mexican Numismatics.
