Gaston L(ouis) Feuardent
Born in Cherbourg, France and a French art dealer. Moved to London in 1868 with Rollin & Feuardent. Came to America in 1876.
He conducted two auctions in New York City in 1884-85. Curator of Archaeology for the American Numismatic Society.
Between 1880 and 1885 he was involved in a dispute with General Luigi Palma di Cesnola, director of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, over the authenticity of artifacts from Cyprus.
