Served on submarines during WWII. Married to Gloria with children.
Past president of the Central States Numismatic Society. Past president of the Omaha Coin Club. Past president of the Byron Reed Historical Society. Author of Territorial Banking in Nebraska published by CSNS in 1984. Named a Krause Publications Numismatic Ambassador in 1989.
He died at home in Omaha, Nebraska.
