Lester Gann Davis
Biography
Employed as an FBI agent from 1942 until retirement in 1974. Married to Mary Ellis with two sons.
He served on the U. S. Assay Commission in 1962. General chairman for the 1977 ANA Convention in Atlanta. He was named a Numismatic News Numismatic Ambassador in 1981. He received an ANA Presidential Award in 1994. ANA exhibitor and judge.
He had a special interest in the works of H. Alvin Sharpe.
He died at the Lenbrook Residential Facility in Atlanta.
