Born in Winters, California. Served in the Army during WWII. Graduated from University of California Berkeley in 1949. Married to Nell Middleton on December 26, 1955, with two daughters and three sons. Emplyed with Link-Belt/FMC.

Co-author of New Jersey State Coppers.

He died in Carnation, Washington.
