Larry Don Adams
Biography
Born in Boone, Iowa. Received A. A. degree from Boone Junior College in 1967. He was a private investigator 1969 to 2016 and forensic document examiner.
He served on the board for the Society of Paper Money Collectors (SPMC) in 1975 to 1978, as vice president 1979 to 1983 and as president 1983 to 1987.
He was curator for the Mamie Doud Eisenhower birthplace in Boone, Iowa, from 1980 until 2006. Curator at the Higgins Museum of National Bank Notes 2007 to 2022.
He died in a car crash near Granger, Iowa, on Octomer 10. 2022.
