The words UNITED STATES oF AMERICA, TWENTY DOLLARS appear on the top periphery. General Notes: The 1932 Saint-Gaudens $20 double eagle is an exceptionally rare coin on the order of the other post-1928 rarities in this series -- of course, not counting the 1933. While a very rare coin, virtually all are known in the uncirculated grades. Amazingly, a relatively large number of these are Gem-quality coins. There are even a handful of specimens at or beyond the MS66 grade threshold. So, on the scarce occasions when an example comes to market, they are generally found in high grades with stellar eye appeal. PCGS #: 9194 NGC ID: 26GR
