While a coin of arguably regional appeal, it is a significant issue in that it commemorates the first county in Maine and among the oldest counties in the United States.

The vast majority of known York County halves are known in uncirculated condition, though pieces grading MS67 are scarce and those in a grade of MS68 or higher are considerably rare. Most York County half dollars exhibit lustrous surfaces and nice eye appeal. PCGS #: 9449 NGC ID: BYKV
