RUTHERF: General Notes: The Kagin-11 is the earlier of two GEORGIA GOLD, 22 carat quarter eagles, and shares its reverse die with the K-13 (and all other pill-style Bechtler $2 1/2s). The 22 on the obverse is punched into the die with the first 2 in 22 lower, and rotated about 10 degrees clockwise, creating a somewhat haphazard appearance.
