EXCHANGED FOR U.S. NOTES at border. Reverse Description: Composed entirely of lettering with: POSTAGE CURRENCY above, ACT JULY 1862 below, with 10 CENTS 1863 at center. General Notes: 1863 Dime. Produced to study the feasibility of a special coin to take the place of Postage Currency bills. Many alloys and variations including as listed, plus others.
