General Notes: The 1924 Philadelphia Lincoln cent is a common coin in circulated grades, but it is a different story when discussing Red Gems above MS65. The 1924 penny is one of the most difficult Philadelphia Lincoln cents to locate in the better Red uncirculated grades and is of similar scarceness to several of the tougher Philly issues from the teens, particularly when comparing MS66 and especially MS67 specimens.
