The motto E PLURIBUS UNUM on the top perimeter. General Notes: The 1932 Philadelphia Lincoln cent is one of the tougher Philly-minted issues from the 1930s. The coin has a mintage of less than 10 million and most of these coins experienced heavy wear in a Great Depression-era economy. Still several thousand remain in uncirculated grades with a great many of all color designations available up through MS65.
