      Obverse Description: Bust of Abraham Lincoln framed by IN GOD WE TRUST on the top periphery. The word LIBERTY to the left of the portrait and the date and mintmark (If any) positioned on the right side.
      Reverse Description: Wheat ears flanking the words ONE CENT, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. The motto E PLURIBUS UNUM on the top perimeter.
      General Notes: 1958 represents the last year of the long-running wheat ears reverse motif that debuted with the Lincoln cent in 1909. Numbers of surviving examples are huge for this last-year type coin in grades ranging from low-end circulated up through MS66. In grades of MS67 and higher, the 1958 Lincoln cent is a remarkably tough coin with that ranks high on the want lists of registry set collectors.
