General Notes: At any given time, a decent number of 1881-CC GSA Morgan dollars are encountered in the marketplace, thanks to a relatively high number of pieces released in the GSA Hoard sale. Of a total mintage of 296,000, about half, or 147,500, were sold in GSA packaging. Of course, not all survive today in the GSA hard packs or soft packs, but a number do. All are worth premiums. PLs and DMPLs are rare. PCGS #: 518865 NGC ID: 2547
