A ribbon above bears the motto E PLURIBUS UNUM with UNITED STATES OF AMERICA around the periphery. The denomination listed as "10 C." appears at the bottom. General Notes: Proof-like surfaces. Capped Bust dimes, designed by John Reich, are generally more common than the Draped Bust issues. However, like their earlier counterparts they are challenging to locate in the better Mint States grades.
