General Notes: The 1954 proof Lincoln cent is most often pursued by series enthusiasts, particularly those who are building a collection of proofs to complement their business strikes. While 1954 isn't a particularly scarce year for proofs, these pieces are extremely challenging above PR67 and are quite desirable with cameo frosting on the devices and inscriptions ' such pieces are rare and take strong premiums.
