      General Notes: 1951-D Lincoln cents are common in circulated grades and remain available in significant quantities through MS66. In a grade of MS67 or higher, the 1951-D Lincoln cent is a scarce coin and many registry set collectors will happily pay handsome premiums for the opportunity to own one of these premium-quality examples.
