The motto E PLURIBUS UNUM appears near the top between the wreath and letters STATES OF AME. General Notes: The best type coin for the Liberty Nickel Series since the very first 1883's, as the mintage skyrocketed from recent years to 4,763 pieces. Common without cameo designations except for the finest of gems. Cameo coins are slightly scarcer with deep cameos being rare. Great deep cameo type coin as well.
