The motto E PLURIBUS UNUM appears near the top between the wreath and letters STATES OF AME. General Notes: The 1890 Liberty Nickel is slightly scarcer relative to the rest of the series out of Philadelphia. Accessible across all circulated grades and tougher in Mint State, as would be expected. MS64 and MS65 are scarce with higher end gems being very desirable and difficult to locate.
