An olive sprig is added above the roman numerals. General Notes: The 1869 proof three cent silver has been determined (as of 2023) to be far scarcer than the narrow-date punch with overdate variety. There has been much confusion over the differences and PCGS has determined that many of their certified examples have been mis-identified over the years.
