General Notes: The 1888-S Morgan dollar is a popular and scarce piece that is relatively available in the circulated grades. However, it is perhaps more numerous in uncirculated grades as most of the ones on the market today came to light in the mid 20th century with the release of bags by the U.S. Treasury. PLs and DMPLs are extraordinarily scarce, especially in the Gem range, where these pieces are downright rare. PCGS #: 7186 NGC ID: 2557
