General Notes: The 1898 Philadelphia Mint Morgan dollar is common in circulated grades and in lower uncirculated grades. Gems are reasonably available, with MS65s and MS66s found in large numbers at any given time in the marketplace. However, MS67s are quite scarce and command some significant premiums, many gladly paid by competitive registry set collectors. PLs and DMPLs are scarce but can be had at a price.
