General Notes: This popular variety, showing a thick, raised line connecting the eagle's leftmost (from the viewer's perspective) feather to the wreath just to the left of its bow, is extremely scarce in all grades. In MS levels, the 1890-CC Tailbar dollar is extremely scarce, becoming exceptionally rare above MS64. Only a handful of PLs and DMPLs are known and these all command strong premiums.
