Reverse Description: The traditional American eagle struck incuse in the center with the words, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA at top, E PLURIBUS UNUM left of the eagle, and IN GOD WE TRUST to the right of the eagle. The denomination 5 DOLLARS struck below the eagle. General Notes: The 1909 Half Eagle is common with grades up to gem being an easy find although MS65 coins and finer are sparse to say the least. These gems are very valuable and desirable and only a select few are truly high end in every way. Those particular examples are very tough to attain and will certainly cost you.
