National Archive series description: This series consists of copies of letters sent to the Superintendent of the U.S. Mint, Denver, by the Melter and Refinery Department. The letters relate to personnel issues, equipment and supplies, work projects, budgets, and work related injuries. Also included are copies of United States Mint Service Form 219, "Melter and Refinery of Bullion Balances".
