Apostrophe Sales
The "Apostrophe" auction series featured 500 lots each from four auction houses: Stack’s, Superior, RARCOA, Paramount (from 1979-1987) and David Akers (from 1988-1990) in an annual sale held just prior to the annual ANA sale with the sale order for each firm rotating for each sale. For over a decade this, frequently overlooked, series of auction sales sold top tier rarities, many with recorded pedigrees.
