The first part of the Louis E. Eliasberg, Sr. collection sold through Bowers & Ruddy as “The United States Gold Coin Collection” in October 1982. This is Part two of three parts of his complete collection of United States coins and is so substantial it took three nights to sell through. All lots are expertly listed and cataloged by the top researchers in the numismatic business, and in typical Q. David Bowers the catalog contains as much additional and peripherial information as many books on numismatic subjects do.
