1986 photocopies of the 1964 appraisal and inventory. Byron Reed (1829-1891) was one of the foremost collectors of his day, and he bequeathed his collections to the Omaha Library, which he had helped establish. The remnants of the collection are now housed in the Western Heritage Museum in Omaha. Ex. Eric P. Newman XI, lot 15958, sold by Heritage Auctions in November 2018.
