Contingent expenses of the Bureau of the Mint : Letter from the Secretary of the Treasury, transmitting copy of a communication from the Director of the Mint requesting that the sum of $500 of the unexpended balance of the appropriation for "contingent expenses of the Bureau of the Mint," etc. for the fiscal year 1887 be made available for the same object for the current fiscal year.
