Hand-priced in ink. Binding very worn and in need of repair, with final two plates present but detached. Good to very good. A very impressive catalogue. Pietro (1863–1930) and Pio (1881–1947) Santamaria joined together to form the Santamaria firm in 1898. They became one of the premier numismatic auction houses in Italy and, indeed, all of Europe, and their catalogues were admired for their accuracy as well as their high production values.
