Book Summary
[Author's Introduction] This book represents over 47 years of collecting and research experience attempting to put together a complete set of three-cent patterns as represented by Judd numbers. This was started by my father Remy Bourne in 1977 and nearly finished by myself at the time of this printing. This book represents the nearly complete collection that has been amassed over time and is as finished as you find it today. All of the pictured coins that show a grade are part of the current collection unless otherwise noted. The quest for specimens and information continues. The path has at times been frustrating and humbling. Over the years, there were times that pursuing the collection went dormant as other priorities took hold.
