Shinkle, Charles
(ca. 1851)
Born in Pennsylvania. Resident of Pittsburgh. President of Myers & Shinkle Company in the printing business. Married in 1889 to Adelaide Benney. He had two sons and two daughters.
Student of California gold. Author of United States Coin Values and Lists in 1911. He had a strong collection of one cent patterns. He served as president of the Western Pennsylvania Numismatic Society. He served as second vice president of the ANA 1914 to 1915.
He died at Pittsburgh.
