Married Rhoda Y. Patterson on January 29, 1889, in Salt Lake City. General manager of the Salt Lake Tribune. He served as U. S. Attorney for Utah.
Compiler, with Dr. C. Foxwell, of Coins: a Collection of all the United States Statutes in Reference to the Coinage of Money… (1905).
He died in Santa Monica, California.
