Puglia, James

Born in Genoa, he came to Philadelphia in 1790. Never married. He wrote on a number of political topics. Author of Forgery Defeated or a New Plan for Invalidating and Detecting All Attempts of the Kind (1822).

He died by suicide. His will directed that his grave be eight feet deep, that it have no marking and that he be buried at midnight.
