Born at Walden, New York. Received masters degree from New York University. Employed with Western Electric Company. Resident of Glen Ridge, New Jersey. Married to Sally with three daughters.
Served as president of New Jersey Numismatic Society and president of the National Society of Paper Money Collectors. In 2019 he was inducted into the SPMC Hall of Fame.
Author of references on paper money, New Jersey's Money issued in 1976 at $17.50 and Maine Obsolete Paper money and Scrip issued in 1977.
He died in Morris, New Jersey.
