Spooner, Lysander
Born at a farm near Athol, Massachusetts. Unmarried. Author of A New System of Paper Currency (1861). He established the American Letter Mail Company in competition with The United States Postal Service.
He died at home in Boston and is buried at Forest Hills Cemetery in Boston.
