Young, John
Born in Middletown, Ohio. Received degree in architecture from Cornell in 1894; mechanical engineering in 1897. Married to Margaret Young Oliver, the daughter of a U. S. Senator. Served as a major during WWI.
He donated land to Cornell and worked in their botany department.
His collection of large cents was sold by Bolender in 1951. Two unpublished manuscripts on large cents are in the ANS Library.
