The author’s doctoral dissertation. Very rare. Indeed, when Babelon cites it, he refers to a later serialization of it in the Zeitschrift für Numismatik (page 193). Given its rarity in book form and the decorative nature of this copy, it seems safe to speculate that perhaps only a handful of copies were bound.
