(fl.1855)

Born in Switzerland, he came to America in 1844. Self-proclaimed professor of numismatics. Groux coins were included in five auction sales 1848 to 1874. 

Author of Catalogue of Medals and Coins (1855).

Author of A Prospectus of a Numismatic History of the United States. The proposed three volume work was never published.
