Falkendukat

The name given to a variety of the gold Ducat issued by the Margrave Karl Wilhelm Friedrich, of Brandenburg-Anspach (1729-1757). It bear on the obverse a hooded falcon, and on the reverse a falconer on horseback. A corresponding silver coin is known as the Falkenthaler.
