Labay

A silver coin of Brabant issued by Wenceslaus and Johanna (1355-1405) of the value of one fourth of a Groot. A Dobbele Labbaye, also called Nummus Epularis and Gast- mael-Penning was struck in 1429. See v.d. Chijs, Les monnaies des Pays-Bas (1851-1866), passim.
